WHAT IS METROSOURCE MAGAZINE?
Metrosource is a glossy lifestyle and entertainment magazine geared towards the modern metropolitan gay community. Metrosource has three editions: NY, LA and National. Metrosource has one of the highest circulations among all publications that reach the lesbian and gay community (125, 000 copies per issue). We are passionate about covering popular culture, entertaining, design, travel, health, fitness, and telling the stories of gay and gay-friendly people, who we celebrate. We are also committed to connecting our readers with the businesses that want to support our unique and amazing community.

HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Over two decades ago Metrosource started as a New York-only publication. Owner and publisher Rob Davis had a vision with a dual purpose: A) to create a publication with stories and imagery that readers could be proud to read and display in their homes and share with friends and family. B) to create a place where advertisers could let LGBT people know that their patronage is welcome at their places of business. We’ve continued to bring readers more as we’ve grown: In 1999, we rolled out a National edition, and in 2004 we launched our Los Angeles edition. We have also increased our frequency to its current run of six issues per year.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN METROSOURCE, METROSOURCE NY and METROSOURCE LA?
The three editions of Metrosource have much in common. All three share the exciting editorial content that readers have come to expect from Metrosource. In addition, readers of the New York and Los Angeles editions receive additional specific local content, including coverage of regional events, shops, homes, bars, restaurants and our world-class local business directory of gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses.

WHAT’S NEW AT METROSOURCE?
In 2011, we launched Metrosource for the iPad. If you haven’t already downloaded it, go to the iTunes App Store for both current and back issues of all three editions. In 2012, Metrosource became available on the iPhone, Android and Kindle. There’s also the recently re-launched Metrosource.com, which features even more great content than ever and a fresh new look. All are great ways to access Metrosource — even when you don’t have a print edition handy. They also contain exclusive bonus content — including expanded celebrity interviews — that doesn’t appear in our print edition.
